Customs clearance, customs duties and taxes:

Our customers from Switzerland and other third countries (countries outside the EU) can order VAT-free. Export deliveries to third countries are exempt from German VAT of 19% and are delivered by us without VAT.

This is how ordering works in our shop:

1. Would you like to see all prices without VAT during the ordering process? Then register with us as a customer beforehand, with your foreign shipping address. When you order, our system automatically recognizes whether you can order VAT-free.

2. Is it enough for you if the total without VAT is displayed when you complete the order? Then you can order without registering (as a guest). When you enter the shipping address, our system automatically recognizes whether you can order VAT-free and shows you the corresponding invoice amount.

Customs clearance:

In the customs forms for parcels to countries outside the EU, the value of the items included in the delivery is listed by product type. We reserve the right to provide such information to customs to simplify the procedure for our customers or as a legal obligation. Customs can open packages for inspection, we have no control over this. If the order is a gift, the prices of the items will still be shown on the customs form. We are unable to describe the content in any other way. Customs or import fees will be charged once the package reaches your country. Customs clearance fees are at your expense. We have no control over these fees and cannot predict their amount. Customs regulations vary considerably from country to country. For more information, please contact your local customs authorities.

Note: The customs authorities of some countries require the importer of goods to provide special proof of identification before a shipment is released. As the importer of the goods, you or the recipient of the shipment can provide an identification number, e.g. national identification number, CPF or tax number.

Swiss customers:

Product prices displayed on the xfueru.de website include German VAT (reduced 7%, normal 19%). Since Switzerland is not a member of the European Union, you will only be charged the net price for deliveries to a Swiss address. Every shipment from abroad is subject to customs duties and value added tax. In the case of postal services, the customer is considered the importer and is obliged to pay the resulting amounts. These are collected by Swiss Post when the shipment is delivered. For an import customs declaration, prices in a foreign currency must be converted into Swiss francs using the official exchange rate published by the Swiss customs authorities.

Please note: A subsequent reimbursement of VAT already paid (after the goods originally delivered to Germany have been imported into Switzerland) is unfortunately not possible. For legal reasons, we can only provide information of this kind without obligation. Further information is available on the website of the Federal Customs Administration.
